To Kill a Pines

So "Carpet Diem" has this freakin' awesome shot just after Dipper and Mabel switch bodies where Dipper is fetal'd up in a corner while Mabel's silhouette screams on the adjacent wall. I really like that shot, so I decided to do something with silhouettes. Also, the synopsis for the following episode, "Boyz Crazy," gives the B-Plot as Dipper suspecting that Robbie is trying to brainwash Wendy with lyrics in his songs. And when I think "brainwashing," I think Gideon.
I have this suspicion that Robbie and Gideon are going to team up eventually. They'd have pretty much the same goal; "remove" Dipper Pines from standing between them and their women.
To be honest, I'm surprised I haven't seen more people thinking like this. Maybe I just haven't been on the right sites...

According to word of mouth from those who attended the Nerdist Writer's Panel that Alex Hirsch was at (which will become available to the public in July), Season 2 Robbie is going to be stepping into a more antagonistic role; I think this may just end up happening!
